Every decision-making process involving an existing building starts with one question – refurbish or demolish?
In both cases, performing an audit is crucial to increase the reuse and recycling of construction materials and products and thus prevent waste generation. Such audits are called pre-refurbishment/renovation or pre-demolition audits or, often colloquially - "waste audits".
